Kliimamuutuste leevendamise ja mõjuga kohanemise tegevused Viljandi linnas

Viljandi Linnavalitsus viis ellu projekti "Kliimamuutuste leevendamise ja mõjuga kohanemise tegevused Viljandi linnas" (Projekti number 2014-2021.1.06.22-0083)

Projekti kogumaksumuseks kujunes 248 364,98 eurot, millest 200 000 eurot on toetus Euroopa Majanduspiirkonna (EMP) Finantsmehhanismi 2014-2021 programmi "Kliimamuutuste leevendamine ja nendega kohanemine" vahenditest ja 48 364,98 eurot Viljandi Linnavalitsuse omafinantseering.

Projekti abikõlblikkuse periood 12.05.2023-30.04.2024

Projekti eesmärk on aidata kaasa kliimamuutuste leevendamisele ja kliimamuutuse mõjuga kohanemisele Viljandi linnas.

Toetatud tegevused:

• avalike joogiveevõtupunktide rajamine linnaruumi;
• õuesõppeklassi rajamine C. R Jakobsoni 47a kinnistule;
• lilleaasade rajamine linna parkidesse ja linna sõiduteede äärtesse.

Climate change mitigation and adaptation activities in Viljandi town

Project budget 248 364,98 € (grant amount 200 000 € and self-financing 48 364,98 €)

Project implementation period 12.05.2023-30.04.2024

The aim of the project is to contribute to the mitigation of climate change and adaption to the effects of climate change in Viljandi.

As a result of the project, the following activities will be implemented:

• 6 public drinking water points will be installed in Viljandi town spaces;

• an outdoor classroom will be built on the property at C. R. Jakobsoni 47a on the education campus of Viljandi Hobby School and Viljandi Town Centre School, where students will acquire an environmental and climate education;

• flower gardens of different types of spring flowers will be established in the territory of the town of Viljandi in the parks and along the town entrance roads.

Program is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
